Socializing is Healthy!!

          Disconnect to connect”

Here I am not talking about the social media- socializing 🙂 I here refer to human socializing, which is found quite missing these days.

We know that socializing is fun, but what many people don’t realize is that spending time around other people can also play a role in your health physically and mentally.Whether you prefer small gatherings or you’re more of a fan of loud, noisy parties, most of us will surely enjoy spending time around our friends.

Earlier we used to meet our friends, relatives and discuss our queries, share new ideas, new recipes, showcase our talents, new findings and many more things but now a days this all has been moreover restricted to facebook, whatsapp only,if you ask something to somebody the answer you get is– GOOGLE IT–ofcourse we can google out everything but we are loosing that human touch. We have witnessed the era of fine socializing in our days but I am afraid, that the coming generation will be accustomed to Virtual Socializing only.

Sometimes when you’re feeling down, the last thing you want to do is to go out and socialize, but connecting with others helps improve your mood and fight off depression and when it comes to socializing, face-to-face interactions have more of an impact than emails, msgs or phone calls when it comes to our mental well being. It has also been found that workers were more happy and productive when they went on breaks at the same time in their official working hours.

Strong social ties can preserve our brain health, as social interaction can help keep us mentally engaged.Instead of searching anything on google, reach out your friends. Friends can not only help you deal with stress and act as a buffer to its effects, but they can also encourage you to take better care of yourself and help you uplift your mood.
