Why should I hold on

how long should I wait

what should I do to win this ego bait

love only knows to enter and I don’t see any exit gate

I am at my patience end

I have tried all ways for us to mend

perhaps few things are so damaged

it just can’t be managed

I can’t even leave you but don’t even want to love you anymore

I just want to close this door

for now and forever

I am not looking back, never
