Review:

Being the mother of a toddler, I found this book extremely useful, and what a launch time for this book? Right at the summer vacations, when we mothers look for means and ways to keep our little ones engaged in constructive activities.

This book highlights 26 such amazing activities which you can do with your kids. Right from the Aquarium making with a bottle, lip Balm making to old-cloth recycling. The items used for the activities are easily available and easy to create too. As the author is the mother of two young girls, the pictures performing the DIY activities have more personalized touch as the author has shared many pictures of the activities performed by her creative daughters, also I would like to mention these little girls do have their youtube channel also performing various DIY activities.

Apart from the DIY activities, the book has to offer, the author stresses on a very vital issue i.e Kids’ entertainment, being one of the most important parenting issues which could become a cause of parental anxiety if not paid attention timely. We live in the digital world and have constant exposure to high tech gadgets, channels and online streaming of different information. As a parent, it is our core responsibilities to keep a track of the content that our kids are watching. The author also highlighted about childhood obesity, as it is one of the biggest health problems prevailing nowadays with the kids and it is very important to make our kids physically active to fight with this major health threat by indulging them in constructive and physical activities.

My personal favorite chapter in this book is Chapter Six, suggesting Five super easy crafts in 5 minutes which can be done anytime and get involved with your kids for a fun time. A quick fix in the busy schedule which also helps kids to relieve stress and boredom.

Why you should read this book?

To enjoy the good old days and keep your kids away from technology we need many ideas and sometimes we sit with mobile surfing for such activities, this short eBook could be a very helpful friend for the mothers who continuously want their kids to have some real fun time experimenting with various items and pieces of stuff and create beautiful decoratives which they could enjoy making with their siblings or friends.
