In a lonely

dark night

lying on the floor of my terrace

gazing at the open sky

I dream of a star

as I gaze wider

broader my dream becomes

I catch another star

right at the corner

shining bright

alone like me

yet happy and shiny

as I grin

and move my gaze

I catch up with another

tiny tot sparkling like a shrine

so precious and divine

for the warmth

in their glaze

and

peace in their light

I could gaze them

and smile all night…
