Day 2– The Magic Rock
” Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has plenty; not on your past misfortunes of which all men have some.”
Find a rock or a stone, small or big of your choice, which could easily fit into your palm and you can close your fingers around. When you find your magic rock, just before you go to bed, hold it into your palms and think back carefully through all the good things that happened during the day, and find the best thing that happened that you are grateful for. Then say the magic words, Thank you, for the best thing that happened. Keep that rock somewhere near to your bed. Every night for the next 26 days, follow this practice.
It might seem a very simple task but when you sit with that small rock or stone closed in your fingers and think of the best things that happened to you during the day, you will search through many good things that happened and in this process of searching you will realize that there are many things you are grateful for.
So Day-1 practice (Count your blessings) and Day -2 practice (Magic Rock) will ensure that you begin and end your days in a state of gratitude.
Magic Practise Number 2 – The Magic Rock
- Repeat Day 1 practice 🙂
- Find a Magic Rock and put it by your bedside.
- Before you sleep tonight, hold your Magic Rock in your hand and think of the best thing that happened today.
- Say the magic words, thank you, for the best thing that happened today.
- Repeat the Magic Rock practice every night for the next 26 days.
