Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing fine. Presenting the 16th episode of my Mental Health Awareness Series ” Humanity Ki Chain”.

The 16th guest joining us today is Vedika Saxena, an engineer in Information Technology, Diploma in Training & Development. She is n ex-model with over a decade of experience in ramp modeling and print media shoots has been a freelance soft skills trainer with schools, colleges, and corporates.

She has also been a freelance Emcee in the past (for corporate events). She has worked with corporates like Haworth, which is the world’s second-largest eco-friendly office furniture manufacturing company based in Shanghai as a ‘Client Experience & Marketing Executive’.

She pursued her passion for writing and became a blogger in the year 2017 and ever since she has written 100+ articles for leading blogging platforms like Momspresso, Women’s Web, Fuzia, Blog Chatter, and Blog Adda to name a few. She has been a part of many brands and contributed to brand-sponsored articles. I’m also a TEDx Speaker.

Based in Delhi, working as a Project Director with Tagore International School; from conducting gender sensitization workshops with young adults to being panelists and speakers of important social issues.

The 15th guest joining us today is Anupama Dalmia.

In this episode, she is talking about how we need to have a sensible approach while talking to someone, empathize with others, and also take care of our own mental health.

Anupama Dalmia is a 20-time award-winning blogger, author, serial entrepreneur with 3 ventures, social Influencer, creative writing mentor, choreographer, and mom to a 5-year-old.

She is a Karamveer Chakra Awardee which is a Global Civilian Honour and also plays the role of a Sheroes Champion as a part of which she motivates a community of 15 million women.

She has worked in the rehabilitation of human trafficking survivors and has to date spoken to close to 150 women in distress.

Mental Health Amid Novel Coronavirus Pandemic

Welcome to the 14th episode of my mental health awareness series.

Amid this Novel Coronavirus Pandemic, where health is not only restricted to physical health but with the passing days it is leading to several mental distress in individuals.

Novel Coronavirus pandemic is not only a severe medical tragedy but it is leading to a deep sense of fear of losing a job, loss of income, ill-health condition and the effects of isolation is such that we all we be under its hangover for coming few years.

We have our 14th guest to spread some light and enable people to speak and seek help if they are going through some mental illness in this situation. Mimansa Singh Tanwar is a clinical psychologist.

She is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working in the clinical space using evidence-based treatments with adolescents, parents, couples, and families. She holds an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology.

As the Lead Clinical Psychologist, she provides clinical supervision and assistance to psychologists to enhance therapeutic care across centers. She also leads the Fortis School Mental Health Program with a sense of passion for enhancing the mental health in children.

She has a keen interest in qualitatively improving the skills and well-being of adults who work with children. She has co-authored the parenting book ‘Raising Confident Children: A 52-week guide’. She has co-designed and co-authored ‘Talking about Mental Health in the Classroom- A Mental Health Curriculum for Teachers’. She has also co-created a comic series on mental health called ‘Laugh n Learn with Dr. Parikh – Study and Exam Skills’.
