I wake up every day but I want to sleep
I get ready but I don’t want to step out of my house
I go to work but I don’t want to work
I want to stay at home
in my room
hiding myself
fighting between my subconscious and a conscious mind
dealing with one at a time
and none listen to me or is it vice versa?
I am hungry but I don’t want to cook
I am not lazy but I can’t even drag myself anymore
I try, I stay put and I lose
It is like mending two broken ends
it is like a vicious circle
a sinking feeling
what I feel I cannot even describe anymore
I use all the words to express what I feel
but I can’t express the feeling in words no more.

So many emotions, so many possibilities, a lot of suffering and a high amount of ignorance can lead to a slow death, for a person suffers in silence.
- As per the World Health Organization, 300 million people are suffering from depression around the world
- One of each seven women experiences postpartum depression (exhaustion after giving birth)
If you suspect you have depression, talk to your healthcare provider. A physician can assess your symptoms and can provide you with a referral to a specialist if necessary. You can also contact a mental health professional directly to discuss treatment options.
If you suspect someone you know has depression, address your concerns. The individual may be willing to seek treatment if you bring up the subject. Timely treatment could save someone’s life.
Be present, be aware.

Thank you so much for the helpful post. This post is very relevant to the present time as more than 90 percent people are mentally ill because of various reasons. Most of us don’t even know what we are doing and what for? Chasing the wind….. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

It is indeed very hard to get into the shoes of the people who are suffering but I read a lot and I am also doing PhD in psychology to understand it more.
Thank you 😊

I know all these feelings. It’s a sinking feeling. It doesn’t let me sleep. It feels like my head is going to burst. And no words to express.
And the worst part is no one understands the intense pain what depression gives. Because it’s invisible.
Loved the post! Awareness is necessary.
